TULIPS, BANGALORE
Tulips is India's premiere Home decor and bespoke furnishing Store. Their current store location is in Pune. In July 2013, they launched another store in Bangalore. Following is a project done with Lemon Design, for the spatial graphics of the Tulips store in Bangalore.
The basic language followed silhouettes (vectors) of tools and equipments related to the idea of stitching and bespoke furnishing. We wanted the conceptualization and visualization for the store to be extremely distinct. After a lot of brainstorming, we developed the spatial graphic for this store around a stitch which takes you through the store from one space to the other. These were also connected with eachother using "haikus".
The treatment we used was mostly vinyl cut outs and protrusions out of the wall in self. The colour palette was predominantly white along with the Tulips Brand Colours.
